proval
process; rest assured non-aviators will be there in a
talkative mood.
Are you looking for a terrific social flying club? The
"Cloud Busters of Venice" could be your answer. They
meet monthly, usually in the lobby of the Cockpit Café
building, decide where they will fly that day, and then
launch. No need to own a plane. They are a great group of
flying folks.
I close this letter with a Bravo Zulu (Navy talk for
"Well Done!") to fellow VASI member Walter Hake.
Walter, a Naval Aviator and carrier pilot in WWII, pointed out
to our Airport Manager a safety issue with some hangar doors.
The bottom rails had rotted out allowing the doors toswing
freely. Door rails are now being replaced. All needed repairs
should be complete in short order. Should you see a need for a
repair please let a Board member know about it.
I look forward to seeing you both at the AAB meeting then at
our meeting in January.
Sincerely,
Nick Carlucci
