IMPORTANT AIRPORT UPDATES

The special council meeting on the VNC Master Plan Update and Airport Layout Plan has been rescheduled from July 19 to Tuesday, July 27. This special meeting will begin at 8:30 AM.

A preliminary draft of the proposed Alternative Plan has been posted to the city server. (6.6mb, click here).

Council will review, hear public comment and vote. This Alternative, developed jointly by the City, FAA and DY Consultants, addresses rebuilding Rwy 4/22 and associated concerns (golf course impacts), and the Rwy 31 Runway Protection Zone (RPZ).

The detailed plan will be posted on the city website July 19.
